Pumpkin Palooza is a great afternoon of family fun. It consist of a pumpkin growing contest weigh in, a pumpkin carving/decorating contest, a pumpkin tasting contest, donuts & cider, fun family games and live music...
pumpkin growing contest weigh in: This is for any home grown pumpkin. We will be handing out pumpkin seeds in May at our Open Farm weekend and after until seeds run out. Your pumpkin does not have to be from our seeds it just has to be home grown. We will weigh all pumpkins and there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place.
Pumpkin weigh in is from 1pm - 1:30pm ..results at 1:45
pumpkin carving/decorating contest: For this contest you bring a pumpkin Already carved or decorated. This will be a people choice award. We will have these pumpkins displayed and people will vote on their favorite. prize awarded
registration is at 1:00pm..... results at 4:00pm
pumpkin tasting contest: for this contest you can bring anything that's made from pumpkin...it can be muffins, pie, any food dish, drink etc... containing primarily pumpkin. We will have judges that will taste and vote on each entry in 3 categories.
registration at 2:00pm...judging at 2:30pm... results approx. 3:30pm... there will be prizes awarded
there will be free donuts & cider,
family fun games and
